In The Name Of Love demonstrates a major maturity in the sound research and experimental recording technique, which reflects a strict cooperation between Blues Joe X and the sound engineer Salvatore Salierno.
This album contains all originals except for another individual gift to Jimi Hendrix. BJX’s peculiar sound is integrated with psychedelic and southern-rock elements with a smattering of hip-hop in a song dedicated to the boxer Mike Tyson.

After more than 1000 concerts and gigs through Italy and Europe, Blues Joe X crystallizes this experience by recording this album with his journey mates, exactly reproducing the sound and the impact of the live performances. This album contains originals and extremely personal covers, with two exclusive pieces of homage: one to his friend Stevie Ray Vaughan and the other to the revered Jimi Hendrix. The sound is the typical one of the Rock Blues with hints of funk.
